Custom Watercolor Pet Portrait

Whimsical watercolor pet portraits make a wonderful gift or a treasured keepsake. These original watercolor pet portraits offer a creative take on your favorite fur friend. I use watercolor washes to create texture and add depth. My pet portraits capture the distinctive traits and character of pets. The eyes are the heart of the artwork. I strive to capture their personalities through their eyes.

This style of artwork is painted on a heavy weight cold-press, 100% rag, acid-free, triple thick board middle, premium watercolor board.

Please note, when I paint the pet portrait, the background of the photo will be removed. The subject, of the portrait, is the only portion of the photo that will be painted. A background may be included; however, it will be
a color wash, as shown in several of the example photos. If you are interested in a more detailed background, please contact me for a quote.

Please note that the images above have my watermark on them and my logo does not appear, on the actual artwork. This listing is for single pet only.

We ship all whimsical watercolor pet portraits paintings wrapped in tissue, cardboard or foam core, in a clear plastic sleeve to protect against potential outside elements. Please note that your painting will arrive unmatted and unframed. We will include helpful framing instructions and suggestions for displaying your custom painting.

Your painting will ship via USPS or UPS Ground with insurance, if you are within the United States. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Please allow four to six weeks for completion of your custom pet portrait, from the date the painting is officially commissioned.
